CONVENTIONAL CLARIFIER SYSTEM

Clarifiers are settling tanks constructed with mechanical means for continuous removal of solids being collected by sedimentation. A clarifier is normally used to eliminate solid particulates or suspended solids from liquid for clarification or thickening. Intensive waste products, discharged from the rear of the tank are known as sludge, while the particles that float to the surface of the liquid are known as scum.
